What we collect
We collect the minimum possible to make the app work.
On your device (local only):
Your tasks and energy check-ins
Your sound and timer preferences
The last room you visited and your intention
This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it.
On our server (Supabase):
A random device ID generated the first time you open the app — not linked to any account, email, or identity
Your chosen nickname (e.g. "Quiet Fox") — you pick this, it can be anything
Which room you're in and your intention, while your session is active
Chat messages you send in a room
Private room settings you create
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any account credentials. There are no accounts in Flow.
How long we keep it
Session presence — deleted automatically when you leave a room, or after 2 minutes of inactivity
Chat messages — deleted automatically after 24 hours
Private rooms — kept until you delete them
Visitor counts — rolling 24-hour anonymised counts, no individual records
Analytics
We use PostHog for basic analytics —
how many people use the app, which rooms are most visited, and where people drop off.
Analytics are anonymised. No personal data is involved.
